Specifically for the Gottman Connect Relationship Checkup platform, there are a variety of fields that are marked as optional as part of the registration process. Date of Birth is an optional field when registering, for example. These are not required in order for a client to participate in the assessment. Certain basic required fields are necessary in order to register as a client, those will be marked with a red star. These currently include a name, contact phone, Gender, Preferred Pronoun, and Address. Those, along with all questions within the actual questionnaire are required in order to complete the checkup process.
Our client data is stored in a HIPAA-compliant and secured platform. We do not use client data for any purposes other than those stated in our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Each individual has the ability to edit their entered personal information in their Profile and can contact support@gottmanconnect.com for any specific questions regarding their PHI or for data and account removal requests as stated in our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. My client doesn't want to input personal information such as birthdate, sexual preference, etc. Is there a way for them to take the assessment without offering that information?
